Oakland Soccer Field
With capacity to accommodate 1,000 fans, the Oakland Soccer Field has served as the home field for the Oakland men's and women's soccer programs since 2001. The 120 x 75-yard field is seeded with Kentucky bluegrass and rye. In 2011 the facility was upgraded with lighting to allow for night matches, as well as a gated concourse on the upper level.
With a first-rate facility, it's no surprise to learn that the Oakland Soccer Field has hosted 10 league soccer championships. In 2010 the Oakland men's team won The Summit League title in front of the home fans. The next season the women's team followed suit as hosts, becoming the first-ever No. 4 seed to win the league title.
The Oakland Soccer Field was also the host site for Oakland's opening match in the 2008 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. The field has also been used as a training ground for various professional clubs, including AC Milan and Panathanaikos during a 2010 visit.
Both the men's and women's soccer team have a winning record at the field, with men's soccer boasting a .658 (53-26-13) winning percentage on its home field, while the women's team has won .611 (54-33-7) percent of home matches since the field opened.

Oakland University Athletic Dome
Oakland University opened a new Sports Facility in 2014. A $5 Million dollar project, the dome consists of a full soccer field and an 8v8 soccer field inside. The massive structure is the largest sports Dome in the State of Michigan.
The new Upper Fields at Oakland University were completed in the fall of 2014. The Sports Complex holds two full size Soccer specific fields and an additional 3 8v8 fields. The new Upper Fields Sports Complex also houses 8 new tennis courts and a championship size track, all of which are lighted.
